The final and biggest TPL Event of 2015 is billed to hold at Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island on Saturday the 19th of December. Kick off time is 10 am prompt with a rendition of the National Anthem in concert with a Military parade in honour of the #ThankASoldier online campaign.
The bragging and social media anticipation is building up online with the Guns, the Pacers, the Raineri, the Alphas, the Raptors and the Teknon FC all angling for more fans and support for their cause with fancy fan photos and friendly banter. The Panthers and Tsarinas too are not left out of the struggle for supremacy in the female category. To handle comprehensive match video coverage and stadium replays, TPL has partnered with Sportiv23 and Footyfanz, while Sports Blip will run live match commentary and immediate match reports/analysis. The official match balls of the 2015 English Premier League have been selected as the official match balls of TPL 6.
The fun part of TPL will see the introduction of a much clamoured-for photo booth. Fans and friends will be able to pose for photos with different photo props for lasting memories of a TPL in December. There’s also table football for those who like to play football with their hands (foos-ball), and finally the big show: the Gladiator Joust. The Gladiator Joust is being propped up as the social event of the tournament because here, everyone will get the chance to take on their friends and foes in a top of the ladder battle tournament. The wheels of music will be handled by City FM’s official DJ Flamzy.
The charity event for this TPL is the Christmas on the Streets outreach planned for the 25th of December. Celebrity super stars Seyi Shay, OC Ukeje, Jesse Jagz and Ruby Gyang will turn up at TPL 6 and give fans the opportunity to win a celebrity date with them by donating to the charity cause. The celebrity dinner is sponsored by Hello Food who will also be supporting the TPL food event with free food vouchers for the audience. Pickups for the TPL Celebrity Dinner will be handled by Porsche.
TPL is partnering with Jekalo to provide free rides to #TPL6 for all passengers on its platform, as well as free entry and fuel vouchers for drivers who offer rides to two or more passengers going to the Campos mini stadium on December 19. Other TPL partners include In3k8 media, Lagos State Advertising Agency, Nektar Juice, City FM, Printivo, Be TV, EL Reports, and Lucozade.
