Teams in the TPL are currently producing their own kits off imported apparel from European and American kit companies.
To improve player performance, help teams focus on training and increase the aesthetics of the games, The TPL requires kit sponsors to kit the 8 teams; 20 players and 10 officials per team as well as match balls, supporters jerseys and pre-match apparel.
Match Prize Sponsor
Responsible for the provision of mini prizes for Man of the Match, tournament most valuable player, golden boot for the highest goal scorer and golden gloves for the tournament’s best goalie.
This category can be shared between different sponsors and can be renamed to suit a partner’s brand, for example, Man of the Match presented by ABC Oil etc.
Organizations can adopt a specific team and sponsor major aspects of the team’s operations without competition or influence from any other partner(s).
Team sponsors get the right to first refusal on the jersey branding space in front of a team’s playing kits (for home, away and fan editions).
For an additional fee, training materials of a team can also be branded. This includes training jerseys, fan polos, training bibs and other warm up wear.
Depending on final negotiations, sponsorship benefits could include team social media branding.
